  • Refrigerated food goods
  • Aggregates

  • Aerospace parts

Arranging your Haulage Insurance can be complex, by engaging with Pavey Group we can simplify the process for you. Your insurance will be dealt with by an experienced team of Account Managers and Account Handlers, who are here to offer advice and solutions on all aspects of your business.

Our extensive experience with national and international hauliers has provided us with an excellent understanding of Road Hauliers Association (RHA) and CMR Conditions, enabling us to tailor your insurance cover fit with the contracts you sign.

Important things to Consider WHEN ARRANGING YOUR INSURANCE:

It is important to pay attention to the Road Hauliers Association (RHA) Conditions of Carriage Limits of Liability, which can be amended to reflect the values in the Contract you sign with your customers. A further important point to be considered is if you sub-contract the movement of goods to a fellow contractor, you should ensure they have a ‘back to back’ insurance cover that matches the contract you have commercially signed and agreed with your client.

If you agree a higher limit with your customer that has not been confirmed under your Marine Cargo policy you will be liable for the difference between the Policy Condition and Commercial Agreement.

Have you considered Cyber Insurance?

If you store important client data electronically, have you identified the potential risks that could affect your business as a result of a cyber-attack or data breach? What protection do you have in place? Learn more.

In the event of an accident our dedicated claims teams will be on-hand managing your claim from notification to final settlement. We understand how each insurer works and will challenge where necessary on your behalf, keeping your claim on track.

If your vehicle is damaged you may still incur costs for the rental of a replacement vehicle, not to mention the disruption and inconvenience to the day to day operations of your business. We recognise the importance of a speedy resolution and will support you in getting back on the road as soon as possible.
