We are delighted to announce that we have secured Devon Air Ambulance Trust a £2,500 donation from Ecclesiastical via their Closer to You – charity support programme.
The Closer to You programme gives Ecclesiastical’s Select insurance broker partners the chance to be part of its ambition to give £100million to good causes. As well as providing funding for charities close to brokers, employees from the specialist insurer are also teaming up with brokers for volunteering days and fundraising challenges.

Wow! What a fantastic 12 months we had working with FORCE. With the help of our colleagues across our 4 offices, we have fundraised a brilliant £9,009. This year we very much wanted to be as ‘hands on’ as possible, and with the support of our colleagues, we had volunteers at all of FORCE’S largest events including teams of participants, totalling a massive 200+ hours of time given over the course of the year.

On Thursday 11th May in conjunction with Sampson Hall, we held a Business Breakfast seminar at Exeter Racecourse. Our goal was to educate and inform our guests on the practicalities of how you can safeguard yourself and your business before, during and after a potential cyber-attack or data breach.
The session required no technical background and was aimed at Business Owners, Board Members, those responsible for information security, HR Directors, Leaders and Managers of teams and those responsible for the companies insurance. Pavey Group’s ‘Donate & Do Good Day’ for Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) was a resounding success.
The day was held in Exeter on Tuesday 25 October and the idea was, as many busy professionals don’t have time to take their unwanted items to charity shops, Pavey Group would visit the businesses to pick up the collections instead!
Whilst members of the team spent the morning collecting charity shop donations from businesses in the area, the rest of the team worked as volunteers at CHSW’s Sidwell Street shop in Exeter helping to sort through the collections and help out with general shop duties.

We're delighted to announce that after many weekends of walking, Rob has finished the coastal path. A huge thank you to everyone who sponsored and supported his journey. A fantastic £5,275 was raised for Childrens Hospice South West.

From 1st February 2016, all private landlords in England will have to check new tenants have the right to be in the UK before renting out their property. Under the new rules, landlords who fail to check a potential tenant’s ‘Right to Rent’ will face penalties of up to £3,000 per tenant. The new law will mean that private landlords, including those who sub-let or take in lodgers, must check the right of prospective tenants to be in the country to avoid being hit with a penalty.
