Helen Jones; President of the Insurance Institute of Exeter

Helen Jones of Pavey Group has been elected President of the Insurance Institute of Exeter, Helen's one year appointment was confirmed at the Institute’s Annual General Meeting earlier this month.

Helen, who is a Senior Commercial Account Manager here at Pavey Group a leading Insurance and Financial Services firm in the South West, takes over from Russell Langham whilst Mark occupies the position vacated by Ms Jones. Helen has worked in the insurance industry for over 25 years, beginning her career with an Insurer, working across various departments and for the previous 12 years as an insurance broker. Helen specialises in insurance solutions for businesses working in a broad range of sectors and manages a large portfolio of clients across the South West.

Helen Jones stated, " I am delighted to have been elected as President of Insurance Institute of Exeter, I have been involved with the Institute for many years in various capacities. The local institute is here to support and represent our existing members as well as encouraging new talent which has entered the insurance industry, the opportunities to progress in our region are there for those that have aspirations to progress, the institute can assist you through professional qualifications and continued learning such as education lunch time talks and seminars. Throughout my time as President I also plan on increasing the support offered to our colleagues working in the Financial Services Sector as they themselves have under-gone a significant period of change".
