Claims service
Jan Newman and Orrianda Wellington provide a dedicated professional and efficient insurance claims service to our commercial clients, managing each claim from notification to settlement. In our experience, this is a valuable service appreciated by our clients during what can be a very stressful time for them.
Following the report of a new claim, we will check insurance policy cover to ensure that the claim is covered and advise the excess applicable. Where required, we will notify the loss on behalf of our client.
Our relationship with insurers’ claims personnel, loss adjusters and other suppliers helps to achieve the smooth processing and settlement of claims. This extends to attending site meetings with loss adjusters following significant losses to represent our clients’ interests.
Our ability to respond continues outside business hours as we provide an emergency telephone number should our clients suffer a significant loss outside normal business hours.
We also carry out periodic claims reviews as part of general review meetings with our clients, if appropriate.
